Alot of x10 users seem to be using apps that are eating at their battery, but most people do not know which apps are causing this.

So I created this thread for all X10 users to list any apps that they know eat battery very quickly, thus helping others, so they can remove the app(s) and gain more battery life :)

EboBirthday did mine and two battery apps that I can't remember so that's not exactly helpful is it! One had a retro style dial and another was one recommended on the Show Us Your Homescreens. I have now got BatteryLife which is great.

I have an app eating at my battery, but as there are no apps displaying in "Battery Use", I have no idea which one it is.

My battery was lasting more than a whole day, but now I merely get 5 hours. But I can't remember which apps I recently installed

Hows this for NOT eating your battery

BATTERYGRAPH indicates, that my phone hit 1% on the battery at about 2:20am - its just died now at 3:10am

thats 50 minutes on 1%

yet when i first boot up, uses 5% in first hour

LMAO!

I think you're battery is a warrior! It hangs on for dear life lol

Everything I own that can be charged, such as my phone, laptop, groomer, etc...they all die as soon as they hit 1%...it's like they collapse in anxiety :D

gonna try and find the data cable and get the info off - was a beast today - 16 hours with wifi use all day

Do you have stock battery?

If so can you get a screenshot of your battery use + the info from the *#*#4636#*#* menu please :)

Is there an app in the Market that displays how much battery every single app is using?

I use system panel though on the helpful, there's way too much info that I only use 1/5 of the app, lol. There's a free version, but to get the detail information, you need to buy the app. You have 24 hours to try the app and if you don't like, you can always return it ;) lol

You can also try Spare Parts, I've never used it since I have system panel.

Spare Parts

Price: Free
Created by Android Apps:
Spare Parts is an assortment of additional settings for the Android platform. It was put together from pieces of the original Android firmware that didn’t make it into the final build, hence the Spare Parts name. It adds extra settings for window animations that allow you to alter them for performance or style, so you can slow them down, speed them up, or turn them off all together. It also adds different animations for things like automatic rotation and screen transitions. Font sizes can be increased or decreased. But most importantly are the statistics options–you can use Spare Parts to track your battery usage under its Battery History and Usage Statistics categories, listing how much power different apps and functions have used. It is an app born out of Android’s open source policy and is completely unique to the Android platform.
