Accessories seidio active x issues anyone ??

ive had mine for about a week or so and the rubberized coating on the top half is starting to peel away ... im sure this isnt normal & curious if any1 else has this happening ? .. when i get home i will look into how to get a swap/refund . .

no, i haven't had that happen yet.
however, i am frustrated that the case doesn't let the speaker phone function properly while it's on. maybe i should have realized that, but i assumed the case would have been cut to let that feature operate when cased.

Now, remind me, how is this case any better than the (wonderful!) Sprint case with the silicone inlay?? From what i have seen, the Sprint case is the best designed case along with superb protection for our Epic. Quality is top-notch to boot!

I love my Sprint case + Seidio belt clip...works perfectly, even better than with the Seidio (Platinum at Best Buy) case.

The wife has had this issue with the Evo version as well.

Solid rubber plugs covering the buttons, so you can (in theory) press them normally instead of having to go on a fingertip expedition into the black void hunting for the button rumored to be hidden below

That said, I've never managed to take a proper one-handed self photo using the camera button since I put the ActiveX on. I don't know why, but it just doesn't quite seem to have the thicker bump in the right place to precisely transfer the press through to it. With the amount of force it seems to take to press the camera button, the camera ends up getting jiggled and vibrated into blurriness.

I had this on my seidio cases for my Pre ( all three cases ) as well as my Evo. Each time when I emailed customer service about it they sent me a new one for no charge as long as I returned the old one. Same thing for when the tabs broke off the ones for the Pre. I will say that in my experience, Seidio has been good with getting out replacements.

I'm shipping it back in a few minutes as I received my rma# .. Back to the sprint case for now which believe it or not allows for easier presses of camera & power buttons. Idk maybe I'm still getting used to it. If the peeling effect happens on the next one I'm going to see how the sprint top half mingles with the seidio bottom ....
