Android 2.1 .......O2 UK network

I have just spoken to O2 UK and they reckon that O2 users may have to wait up to 4 weeks for the update to be released. Thats ridiculous, what are they playing at!

Works fine, and is a little buggy but not to the point the phone is unusable. Beats having to wait another month or two though.

will wait till 2.1 servicepack 1 comes out to fix 2.1 lol

I don't understand why Sony had to mess with firmware myself.


I have to wait for tmobile, they say end of nov but the firmware says generic
in the service menu but it can't be cos its full of unremovable bloat


till then i will let you guys Beta test it for me that said i have a mini pro so mine might be better haha

I re-installed 2.1 and after a while the lagging dissapeared, and I don't get 3G but that's because I get HSDPA which is better

well i can download at a whooping 1Mb on 3G on my network lol Tmobile
wifi about 10Mb not bad for a phone

i mostly have the phone on Gsm only, 3G signal is low in my pc room
and the phone switching between the 2 because it looses 3G its a really battery killer

I'm on t-mobile and on a speedtest I get 9.8Mb. Plus, T-mobile are planning to up it to 20Mb by 2011
