I am going to get a android for my sprint account, I presume either an Evo or an Epic, unless there are other android sprint phone son the horizon.

BUT, I tend to really beat up my phones, and so have generally gotten flip phones. I drop them frequently and they rattle around in my pockets with my flashlight and swiss army knife, and various wayward bits of hardware.

Anyone have any idea which phone might be the most likely to survive its hard life as my slave?

Avoid the Evo. The giant screen will break if you're hard on it. Otherwise it's a gorgeous screen.

The Epic has harder guerilla glass, which is tougher and can withstand more punishment.

When I travel I take my Epic, as Samsung phones are generally pretty durable. I leave the Evo at home.

My Samsung Moment was built like a tank. That thing was almost indestructible.

I agree Samsung's hardware simply can't be beat. If they hired some decent programmers they could very easily corner the Android market. (Pun!)

Programmers would be great. Even better would be to throw in some decent radios. I'm wondering if there is some sort of perfectly adverse relationship between shell durability and GPS signal in Samsung phones?
