Been in two CPW stores which both have point of sale up saying they'll sell the DHD pay and go for

could you not say, " put me on a short list, i'll pay a deposit for one now to secure one as soon as it arrives?" *shrugs* lol

The guys at both seemed very 'shrug' about the whole thing. I think with nothing at all on their system about it then they wouldn't have been able to take any kind of deposit.

I possibly should have asked to be called though.

wouldnt surprise me if the CPW got themselves confused with the standard Desire...

Was definitely desire HD point of sale but who knows if it'll actually go on sale at that price.

If you put "htc desire hd payg" into Google the first result is Carphone warehouse advertising Desire HD on PAYG at

They were selling it sim free for 495 for a little while but that was pulled the other day for some reason. Anyway, not the same thing i saw.
