Which do you think is the better looking device? Persionally, I think the Nexus is ok, but the Passion is second only to the HD2 in terms of appearance!

I don't believe the Bravo you have pictured above is what the Passion will look like, and unless you're living in Europe, doubt you'll see it anytime soon. I think the Nexus One is the Passion, or at least it was the HTC codename for what is now being called the Nexus One (kinda like Desire became the Eris). That being said, I like the look of the Nexus One pictured above. The Bravo picture is a render, so who knows how it'll turn out when it goes to build.

No, you're getting mixed up. Bravo==Passion and Nexus one != Bravo. The Bravo's buttons look more attractive to me and the optical mouse looks a lot better than a big sphere popping out.

No, I'm not. Everybody is taking baseless blog assumptions to heart that the Passion and the Bravo is the same when all the evidence suggests the Passion is the Nexus One.

Kylers right,

Pics show Passion and Nexus are the same phone..One is branded HTC one is not.:D

I think the bravo is the black euro version posted above.Nothing to do with Nexus or passion.

Just an educated Guess

There are no assumptions - people know that Passion==Bravo because of insider knowledge.

Exactly what evidence suggests the Passion is the Nexus One?

Not to be rude, but have you been under a ROCK???

Is this a trick question??

This is getting comical. I don't see how anyone can compare a drawing to an actual phone held in someones hand. The Bravo may be just a concept sketch, or it may be a European version; but Nexus=Passion=Dragon=Bravo. The only real difference would be the button layout. Google may be dictating the button layout now, that may be why the Nexus buttons look like the Droid buttons. They probably told Motorola and HTC how they wanted the buttons to look. Another way you can tell the Nexus One is THE Google Phone is that boot screen; anyone who uses Google Chrome is familiar with that red/green/blue/yellow color scheme on the X.

Right. But thanks to the latest leaks we now know that the above image isn't the passion, so that isn't evidence anymore.

ST and FU!... LOL.. No credible website is saying that the nexus one is the passion... unless you have any links to prove me wrong.

+1. I believe that the blogs that are saying the NExus is the passion, based on the three month old picture of the Nexus thought to be the Passion, just haven't caught up yet. I hope they are wrong and we are right....

I'm gonna have to agree with you on this one, and honestly I agree with every post you've written in this thread. We had that unlocker picture of what was SAID to be the Passion. However, I don't see anything in that original picture that says "Passion" and I don't see a label on the phone that says "Passion." Plus, it was all blogs that assumed it was the Passion, and no actual confirmation from anyone official. So, to say that Rix is wrong because of what some tech blog assumed, that's just ********. I could go start my own tech blog right now and post whatever the hell I wanted to. It wouldn't make it true or fact and I still wouldn't have any way to back up my assumptions, theories and premises.

+1 Rix. I'm with ya.

I'm not saying this is correct or wrong... but here is a source saying Passion is the Google Phone also. It may just be both - one directly from Google and other sold via HTC and the wireless carriers (subsidized price).

Again, not saying who is right, but ... just could be what is happening. Either way I can't wait for them to drop !

We really need to stop using the Dragon and Passion names. There have never been any confirmation as to which phone those working titles have/will become. The two photos in this thread are:

Google Nexus One (Built by HTC)
HTC Bravo

The only TRUE info we have are they both have similar specs. Snapdragon processor, 3.7" AMOLED screen (+- 0.3"), Android 2.x, etc. These are the same specs the Dragon/Passion have always been rumored to have, thus the confusion/speculation.

The Nexus One is unlocked GSM phone being used here in the states by Google employees. The HTC Bravo is a GSM phone announced to be released in Europe in April 2010.

Any info about CDMA versions of these two phone is still speculation and rumor. Being a Verizon customer, I hope the Bravo does come to the Verizon network, it's a sexier looking phone than the Nexus One. Plus Verizon will subsidize the Bravo, while the Nexus One will supposedly be sold by Google direct (unlocked, no subsidization).

To answer the original question, I like the Bravo better, but I don't care for the 5 LEDs across the top. But I'd live with it, as long as they don't scan back and forth like Knight Rider's KIT car.

The bottom phone is simply MUCH better funtion design. The actual pictured HTC phone is as plain as you can get. Not "sexy" at all. Then again Google and there employees arent known for great design taste.

All specs being equal (3.7 +snap) the second would be hands down the nicer looking phone and an optical trackball would be a massive upgrade so long as LEDs are present for notifications.

I do have to wonder what a "Gphone" Android OS would consist of. If rumors of data only are true I would wonder if the rooting community would have to make some sacrifices porting the great features of either choice to the other.

Currently from what is coming out now the google phone looks like an upgraded Sprint Hero without Sense. If that becomes true then it will sort of suck since Android 2.0 native is not very good. I am still hoping that something along the lines of the 2nd picture "Bravo" or even better the HD2 with android 2.0 and sense will be on the way very soon to VZ. I m still miffed that the HD2 hardware with Sensedroid OS is not def coming out asap since that would mos def be the killer phone.
