Root Couple of questions

I successfully rooted my phone, its still branded to Virgin Mobile but I want Froyo, can I just use the stock Froyo or does it have to be a custom rom for me to get 2.2, 2.1 is out dated now and I want the new version and waiting for Virgin is a joke.

make sure you do a nandroid backup

dont Run the RUU stock rom upgrade as you will end up losing root.

make a goldcard (not needed at the moment but it will give you more options to fix things if anything breaks - best practice is to turn your storage card into the goldcard so its always in)

use teppics rooted stock rom, that is 2.2 stock but rooted. nice and simple
