Help Customizing

How hard is it to get some of the bloatware crap off of this phone? Is it possible to get the "genius" button to trigger Google Voice Actions? And if you use a different launcher, does that about take care of everything else? Looks like great hardware, but once again, it's ruined by the manufacturer not being able to just leave Android the hell alone.

All these free trial games suck. No need to install all that crap on such a nice phone.

there is no way to remove the bloat ware yet. We would have to wait for root.

No on the genius button. It was specifically designed for tmobile. Play with it. Its kinda nice once you get used to it.

New launcher dont know what else it would take care of but it gives you a different look HOWEVER you will still have the factory stuff on it. (themes)

I don't know if you have the phone, but what happens if you install Google Voice Actions? Normally, that makes a long a press of your search button trigger it. Would it just not work on this phone?

I have the phone and to be honest i dont have google voice. I just googled the Google Voice Actions and it sounds exactly like the genius button. Everything listed there that button can do. I have sent text messages via genius button several times and its almost 99% accurate.

Open up a text message like your about to send.

In the blank area touch and hold. A little bubble should pop up that says imput method. Select your better keyboard.



LCL:
Move your icons around to change the order of them. Your gonna have 5 unless you change it in the settings. However you will need to wipe your phone to get the screens back. Gives you a warning.

download better keyboard in the marketplace.. go to langauge and keyboard under settings..select better keyboard.. you can change the color of the keyboard with skins in the marketplace.. same with fonts and all that good stuff.. i like red
