Launcher Pro problems

Before anyone "bashes" a noob, I did search the forum for this an didn't find much info.

Downloaded Launcher Pro, to get rid of all my useless apps that I don't use, or rarely use.

I download it, then it disappears, the only place I see it is in my APK list to uninstall it.. in the download description it says to download homeswitcher, but it then says it's not compatible with Froyo(2.2)

So I'm lost/confused..

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

when you hit home did you get the option to choose sense or launcher pro?

if not go into your APK list (where you can uninstall stuff) and find the HTC Sense one (the icon looks like the homescreen) tap on it and then scroll down and hit clear defaults. The next time you hit the home button you should get the choice between launcher pro and sense

Alright cool thanks! I got it to work, but I'm having a hard time with like widgets, etc. Do you need to download LP widgets? I wanna get the weather app back (stock clock/weather) widget..

Sense widgets will only work with Sense UI. Check out Beautiful Widgets for your clock/weather widget
