Y'all sure do go thru a lot of crap just to edit a little piece of a ROM. Why not just learn how to create your own theme and be done with it? Then you can edit anything you want. Metamorph ... NinjaMorph ... meh! Lame.
Not sure I follow. In post #207 of this thread, you took a theme and modded it yourself, which embraces the same idea of what took place, here.

Your "crap" is another person's learning experience, minus the validation. There are more constructive ways to make suggestions.

Definitely am seeing some problems with this ROM. At times, when an alarm goes off, the box that is *supposed to* pop up with the options to dismiss the alarm, does not pop up. The alarm will continue to ring for minutes. The ONLY way to get the alarm to stfu is to reboot the phone, as far as I've been able to figure out. This is a major glitch in my book (this has never happened before I got UD). Also, at times (random times) I will realize that I am not connected to WiFi but to 3G. When I see the 3G show up I go and check to make sure I have WiFi enabled. So of course I check it and I do have it enabled (I rarely turn it off). My WiFi will be enabled but I cannot connect to WiFi. If I go to my power control widget on my homescreen and click the wifi button to disable it, then re-enable it, the button does not work. I keep clicking the buttons on the power control widget but nothing happens. I also notice that my bluetooth symbol will start showing up on the notification bar (indicating that bluetooth is turned on) but I always keep bluetooth turned off. In order to fix this I've been rebooting. There are big problems for me though, and none of these things have ever happened for me before I installed UD.

Too many problems with this ROM so far, and a complete lack of attentiveness by BD about it on his forum for too long. There are a handful of issues that are deal-breakers for me. I've tried several times to live with them, but I'm back on UD7 where I get blazing response & 36 HRs per charge.
Too much shit is crammed into this one. Options are a must and what makes his ROMs so great, IMO. The LED remains busted yet effort went into a built-in (very limited) CPU clocker? It's gotta be along the lines of about 90+% of the folks who play with ROMs on their Droid that already have SetCPU, so that's a waste of effort if you ask me.
Just an example.
On the other hand, BD raised the bar so early on that it's now (probably) difficult to top it, and even minor issues appear to be major blemishes in an otherwise perfect work.
Hope some fixes come soon.

Is the lock screen problem been fixed yet? I hate the rotary screen and want to go back to the normal one, but it's so effed up.

The other problem I have is a few apps won't update or install. Anyone else have this issue?

If you change your font to the default font, the lockscreen will no longer appear effed up.

For apps that won't update, delete them from your system/app folder using TiBU or root explorer, reboot, download from market. What apps won't install?

The only widespread issue I'm aware of (which isn't an issue, it just wasn't completed) is the LED lights. Otherwise, the overwhelming majority UD1.0.0 users are not having issues. I have to assume these issues are setup specific and not indicative of the ROM. Out of all the roms I've tried since December, this may be the all around best one.

Riffdex, have you tried changing kernels/themes?

The lock screen is still effed up! Nice try though.

Is there anything else I can try? It's been bugging the crap out of me.

I guess I don't know what lock screen problems you're talking about. I had problems and applied changes already mentioned in this thread...including changing the font to default.

Maybe you should try the UD forums, if you haven't already.

Im givin up on UD. I'll try the next update. Just too many little annoyances I can't seem to fix. And now my battery doesn't even last more than a few hours for some reason.

messenger, if you dislike this ROM please stay out of this thread. You are providing nothing useful to anyone promoting LFY every other post. Thank you.

The first time I even mentioned LFY was on this page of this thread, and that was only because I was answering a question asked by tommyk2005. Then I said I was flashing LFY 1.9 after checking it out (I didn't know it was out), and I stated that I was tired of waiting for an update from this dev. "every other post" ... Really? Exaggerative much?!

And where did I state that I "disliked the ROM"? If you would even take the time to read just the first page of this thread you'd see that I praised this ROM on multiple occasions. Sorry to blur the argument with facts.

But fear not. This will be my last post in this thread. When UD releases 1.x.x, I'll be back. Until then, I'll miss you sweetie. :p
