Accessories HTC Desire HD - Screen protectors

Can anyone recommend any good quality screen protectors for the Desire HD.

I know there's Invisible Sheild, Fields Martin and some others. So who's bought what for their phone and any good?

So Far,

My preference about screen protectors has always been "BestSkinsEver". Used for my Cowon A2, Iphone 3Gs, Creative Zen Vision M etc.. . It's so clear once you want to remove it from the device. No left dust or something.

Of course no spesific skin for Desire HD yet but you can order DIY size which means you can shape it whatever you need. At least that's what I do Advise you to check it out.

i do have a question about putting on these full body covers...using soapy water??? really?? crikey, so when you squegee the water out with a credit card, doesnt the water seep into phone? lol

You shake off all excess water you can then lay the film on and squeegee it with a credit card, and you just wipe up the water with tissue, no water got in to the phone doing it this way.

Mind you it's easier with 2 people as the other can wipe up the water whilst you squeegee.

ooo...cheers Sereniity so any reviews to these full body protectors then? any good? i dont think i wanna add bulk to this phone already so a full body shield would be a great alternative

Just installed a Zagg Invisible Shield today. Came out perfect! You can just barely tell it's there when the light hits it just right. Apart from that, it feels much smoother when sliding a finger across it. Fingerprints are cut WAY down now too!

Update, the dent in the middle has magically moved down to the menu button at the bottom, and the screen is starting to flatten out, so is a lot smoother, but brick breaker is still quite difficult to play

They are not producing "official" screen protectors. HTC Corporation (the phone company itself) does not produce screen protectors.

This website belongs to another company that misleadingly calls itself "HTC Screen Protectors" and makes protectors for HTC devices. There is a fine-print at the bottom of the website that says: "We are not affiliated with HTC Corporation. or any of the HTC's group of companies."

And the screen protectors are so expensive! I think they are cheating people by copying the HTC branding and making it seem like "official". And if anyone complains, they always have the tiny fine-print to fall on!

I got my screen protector custom-cut because the phone is newly released and a pre-cut protector is not available yet. The desire HD has a perfectly rectangular screen with curved edges (and no holes necessary), so it was easy to do a custom-cut. Other phones like the older Desire have funny shaped screens (and hole requirements sometimes) that a rectangular protector would not fit nicely on them.

I like my custom cut anti-glare screen protector as it feels nicer on the finger than a pre-cut anti-glare screen protector that was applied to my wife's Desire (older model). Will be keeping this protector for a long time.

I HIGHLY recommend the Martin Fields screen protectors. While they are slightly more expensive, I found them to be THE BEST screen protectors I've ever had on ANY phone!

I had one on my HTC Desire, and now I have a HTC Desire HD, I WILL be investing in one!

I bought a twin pack of those apparent HTC screen protectors. Screwed it up twice with bubbles, and hair and fingerprints took over, so both are useless now. Waste of 4 quid. Gonna try te invisible shield next. At 11 quid, it's a lot, but oh well to be honest. The phone is worth it !

Any peep know if it's easy to put invis shield ones on ?

these can be removed, cleaned and refitted if you get any inclusions too.
I got the whole body Invisibleshield but wouldnt again, would only go for the screen protector.
Feels rubbery and provides what feels like top protection to he screen.
Have you see the youtube video of the one they test?

Update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nope them screen protectors were total crap!!!!!!!!!!!! the bloke took bloody ages to send them cos he had the flu so he sent 6, but he had cut these himself and all were different shapes and none fitted, i'm now sick of screen protectors and think i'm gonna go naked the screen is sily smooth without cheap plastic stuck to it..........................

Did you get your money refunded? If he claimed the protectors to be professionally cut you can demand a refund and warn him that you may sue him for misleading advertisement.

Always check seller ratings and feedback on eBay.
