Hi, I would like to know how to root my 2.1 leak v3 droid eris and update it to 2.2 Kaos Froyo v38. I am new to rooting and android phones so please HELP!

The first one is a little easier to use, given that its a 1-click solution, but the second one has a lot of excellent detail and images to help you get an idea about what concepts are being discussed.
