Ok.. I've done flashed, added, removed, voodoo'd, and every other damn thing to my phone for a few months now.. so much that I don't even know what the hell I'm on anymore (sad I know)..

My SD card looks like my porn collection when you view it, folders upon folders, upon folders..

What I do have a handle on is the things i want to keep... backup of SMS, certain apps, and some others..

So what I've done at this point is ran my backups and then copied the contents of my SD card over to my PC, what I want to do is to COMPLETELY default this thing and start over.. including the format of my SD card..

Would Odin be my answer for this? Can it handle it while Voodoo is installed?

Someone tell me how to start at ground zero. Keep in mind i'm currently VooDoo'd.

I have my game plan in place to get back to where I want to be, I just don't know what it is I need to do to get back to the starting line.

If you have everything backed up and want to wipe your phone voodoo has to come out. Head over to xda [How to] Completely Remove Voodoo Lagfix - xda-developers
And follow adrynalnes great post on how to kill voodoo. You do need adb for this. His unistaller is good to but its not 100% successful.

Once voodoo is gone and want complete stock u can Odin the pit/system and youll be good to go with a stock rooted clockworked phone

Never Odin with voodoo or youll join the borked phone group with 0.00 storage problem

Strong work! If I was confident I could go back to stock in an hour I'd be doing all kinds of silly sh!t to this phone :)

im kind of a glutton for punishment. since my day 1 voodoo-screw up, ive wiped/restored, voodoo uninstalled, odin, etc etc just to figure the ins and outs of everything.

when playing with themes, service.jars etc i routinely factory reset or flash jts rom and wipe data just so i have a fesh template to work with and dont start piling stuff on top of each other. but im a wacko :)

Ok so let's say I don't have voodoo installed, and never have. I do have root, and I've been futzing with enough stock apps that I've destabilized the phone a bit. I want to go back to bone stock (with or without root, doesn't matter I can re-root in a matter of minutes if I need to).

I have Odin, I've used it to restore the /system partition once or twice already. But that isn't doing a total wipe/restore. What file(s) do I need in order to do this? I've downloaded most everything in the Odin restore thread, I'm just not sure what files/order I need to flash.

Again, no voodoo - just a slightly buggy rooted stock Fascinate.

Thanks for the advice guys.

first, obviously back up whatever you need.

factory data reset in settings first. let phone reboot

pull the battery then 3 button recovery

if you have clockwork recovery installed then go into it, wipe data in clockwork, then boot back to regular recovery and wipe data and cache.

odin (dont forget to do it as pda NOT PHONE). pit/system, then kernel (doest hurt), and then recovery (either clockwork or stock, whichever you prefer.

should be back to bone stock (but you may or may not still have root)
