Root 2.2 SBF Did Nothing?

I ran the 2.2 SBF and all it did was remove my root! Is this all it was supposed to do?

It is suppose to return your phone to factory settings, Life new. did you use S 2.2 in conjuction with RSD Lite?

Yes I did, but all of my apps are still there.

No, but I re-rooted with Visionary so is it too late?

flashing the sbf does not erase data. after doing the sbf you need to do a factory reset to clear it. or do it before hand if you can get into the stock recovery.

Thanks! I was kind of confused when I saw everything look the same because I was so used to 2.1's SBF doing a restore.

Pardon my ignorance on the Matter, is just the more I read the more confused I get, so from what I have read on this thread, right now I'm Rooted, but Im not running any custom ROM, I'm on "offical 2.2 OTA" and I use the "one click method" to Root and I know that there is a "one click Un-root option" on the same program or wahtever, so if I wanted to get my DX back to stock, just like from the box, can I just un-root and to a factory reset or I will have to SBF and THEN the factory reset?

Also, do you ned to unroot before yo flash with SBF 2.2 or does flashing take care of this?

Flashing will take care of it for you.
