Help How much or big is info on the screen?

With the bigger screen (than my Droid 1), does the X just show more info (more icons, contacts, etc.) or is/are the fonts larger or able to be larger than the original for old eyes like mine to see easier?

I always carried my D1 in my pocket without any cases and was comfortable (semi-baggy Dickies/Dockers style pants). How has it been keeping your X handy at the ready? Any holsters/belt holders you like more than others?

I'm pretty sure the D1 and DX have the same screen resolution, so no, you won't see any additional info.

Yes. Same resolution + larger screen = bigger elements on the screen.

On the Dx (and prob the D1) you can use a root app that lets you adjust the screen density and get more on the screen.

I want to go the other way - bigger fonts (not huge, just a little bigger) with a correspondingly larger virtual keyboard, etc.

I carry the X in my pocket very comfortably. I usually wear jeans or shorts, no super baggy and no tight stuff.

So the info shown will appear larger than on the D1?

Yes, everything is bigger, but if you want to show more icons on your homescreen you can use LauncherPro (my preference) or ADW and have more rows and icons and everything will still be bigger.

I have changed my LCD density, so now everything is about the same size as it was on my Droid which I really liked.

Agree, the keyboards are simply amazing on the X, but I liked them on the Droid also
