Root Need a ROM

What's the most stable, fastest Froyo ROM available for Droid? I'm running out of patience and UD and BB both have bad problems for me..

LiQuID FroZeN YoGurT v1.9 is running flawlessly for me -- extremely smooth, fast, no lag or redraws, everything works (at least on my Droid), and it has some nice features. But as you know, everyone's Droid is different, so what's stellar for me may not be for you. You won't know until you try!

Well, here goes. I'm gonna give it a try. It could work perfect and I'd be very happy, or I could waste the next 2 hours setting it up just to find out my phone hates this ROM too. I'll hope for the best :)

So far, I'm loving it. It really does seem a lot smoother than my previous ROMs. I wish I did this switch a long time ago. However, I could end up getting problems later on, I know I had a lot of problems w/ UD and BB which were very unpredictable... I'm hoping for the best because I truly hate going through the time to set up my phone after flashing a new ROM. Question: Is there any way to change the lockscreen wallpaper?

EDIT: And now that I'm finally happy w/ my ROM I get thrown another curveball. Just rebooted the phone and it will not accept my PIN password. (I have used the PIN to get past the lockscreen many times since I installed this ROM a few hours ago)...

I have been flashing roms since sholesmod, anyone here have that? lol, oldschool. Anyway i have tried about 70 percent of most roms out there, lyf has been on my phone the longest, i am still on 1.7 and still loving it, i am ready to go to 1.9 now. As people will tell you every droid is different, mine tends to accept whatever kernal i throw at it, i run at 1250 on interactive and i never run to hot, my droid is a tank.
