Root Speech to Text not working on XtraSense ROM

Flashed the XtraSense ROM yesterday (rooted and flashed for the first time yesterday). The speech to text doesn't seem to work in any of the input field except for Google Search box. The mic icon doesn't appear in on the keyboard in the native message app/handcent nor any of the input screens.

going to head over to xda site but thought I'd post here as well.

the native HTC_IME keyboard doesn't have a microphone key... but i believe zach has included another keyboard...

long-press a text-input field... and choose "Input Method" then, select a different keyboard.

you will then have a mic visible and usable

That seemed to fix it. The "Touch Input" doesn't have the mic, both the "HTC_IME mod" and "Multi-touch keyboard" do.
