Root Loss of Haptics/Vibrate after CWM + VooDoo?

With a fresh device, I rooted, flashed CWM (Recovery+Kernal), then applied the VooDoo 0.2 zip. All went as expected (female voice and all). However, I don't have any haptics with the 4 capacitive keys, and vibrate mode does not vibrate.

This has happened both times I have tried to apply this to 2 different device.

Thoughts?

Never mind, figured it out. I was using a different ROM then the VooDoo fix and Kernal was targeted for.

yeah you have to give us more information than that to help

hi, i'm having this same issue as well after i flash cwmrecovery via odin.
i've flashed dj05 onto my fascinate and then rooted it. but i'm not using a rom.

so your issue is lack of haptic feedback?

when you say you "flashed dj05" what do you mean by that? there are 3 components of dj05...radio (odin flash), kernel, (cwr flash), and rom (cwr flash).

if you are missing any 1 of these things then you arent fully on dj05

i'm sorry, i used the "Full DJ05 odin package" from xda. i though that was the entire DJ05 package. it was supposed to flash the modem, kernal, system, and recovery

and yeah, i'm not getting any haptic feedback or vibration during phone calls.

ah, well in that case...i really dont know you dont have haptic feedback

personally i would have just flashed everything separately, as i have some reservations about that package

but try and flash a geeknik kernel and see if that helps

What reservations, did something happen? Reservations about the di01 package as well? Those things would be money in a pinch if they worked well

nothing serious and fwiw i think adryn's dio1 package is money....nothing against the package itself or the time that went into making it...but i only flash major things like that if they come from certain people

The only thing I heard was that guy on xda whose phone was only recognized as a cd drive when he flashed adrynalyne's.

yeah from what i understand with some of those issues...they had a lot more to do with user error than the files themselves
