Week 10: Here's my linup

Hey all, here's my linup for week 10. I'm not too thrilled about Hasselbeck starting, and am on the fence as to if I should put Ryan Torain or Santana Moss in instead. Torain is coming off of a hamstring injury and isn't officially starting yet, and Moss can either go out well with 20+ points or less than 10.

Also, NE has burned me in the past (week 9 particularly) on defense and I feel that Philly will do better against Washington than NE will do against Pittsburgh.

Anything you all would do differently?

I have a trade proposal to a teammate trading her Hasselbeck and Branch for David Garrard, who would do nicely this week against a horrible Houston pass D. Doubt it will be accepted though.

I've never seen a league like that before- wow!
It appears it is a PPR league right?
Patriots face the Steelers who are looking strong right now. I can't decide yet if Hillis is the real deal or the Patriots just got beat for one solid week.

In my league I have Aaron Rodgers and he has a bye, so I was going to pick up Garrard off Waivers (if he stays available) for one week. I'm going to also work out a trade for Schaub.. either way I hope to have QB in that game.

Are there any other WR's available in your league? Just curious to see what else is out there.. not sure exactly what you can get with Branch week in and week out just yet with their terrible week last week (9).

There's not much available on waiver or FA, as there are 12 teams in this league. The trade was denied, so I ended up trading Branch for Vincent Jackson (he will play against Indy at the end of this month, and since I'm not using branch ever, may as well put a hold on Jackson for that spot). Also traded NE defense for Tampa Bay, who actually has better stats as of late, though I'm keeping Philly in the game for this week. Lastly I traded Nate Kaeding for Shaun Hill. Kaeding won't be playing until at least week 11, and Nick Folk with the Jets is doing well enough. That's not a super point earning spot anyway, so it's no big deal (I think the Jets will kick more field goals though, since the Chargers are big on touchdowns and hail mary's).

If Shaun Hill's forearm is ready for action this week, I'll put him in instead of Hasselbeck and start Hill and Fitzpatrick. I'll use Jackson at the end of the month (he'll be a big target for Rivers), and put Tampa Bay in from time to time as well, though Philly has been good to me consistently.

I still say Freeman is a great plug-n-play option for bye weeks or injury replacement. He's 1 place out of the top 10 QB's for this season, just .2 points behind Tom Brady, and strangely still on a lot of league's waiver wire.

It's true that the TB Bucs are going to hit some more difficult opponents soon, but they should still do quite well for themselves.

Neither are available in my league (hillis or peyton). Not sure why they were brought up, hah.
