So a lot of people are saying that the Samsung Galaxy S has a better graphics processor than the DHD so it's better for gaming.

I was wondering if anyone has tried any of the Gameloft HD games on the DHD yet, or the Playstation emulator?

Where did you hear that? The cpu/gpu on the desire HD is about 50% faster than the Galaxy S. Check out the you tube vids that compare the phones doing benchmarks.

Hello guys. I've tried out all the HD games by gameloft. Guess what they all work superbly on my DHD. I ended up purchasing the following the trial. Asphalt 5, Hawx, Nova, Sandstorm, and Assassins Creed. Just to mention Real Football 2010 worked like a charm but was a disappointing game. Football fans are better off purchasing FIFA 2010 from the market. This is a brilliant game and works perfectly on the DHD without any lag or the multitouch problems desire/nexus owners were facing. (by the way I upgraded from the desire particularly for this reason and boy was it worth it. There was another game I tried from gameloft unfortunately I can't remember the name now but it is the game which plays like gta. This game had major issues with it, thus couldn't be tested. To conclude I would like to add that the desire HD can handle any game as good as the Samsung Galaxy S. I can say this with assurance because my friend has compared the most graphically intensive game Asphalt 5 on his Galaxy S with my Desire HD, the results were almost identical. This phone rocks for gaming aswell.

hmmm...so let me ge this right guys, the DHD and the DZ have the same GPU right? the Adreno 205? just the DZ is under clocked and the DHD has more RAM?

either way, as long as it plays the latest titles, im cool as a cucumber lol

To be honest with you, they will all play the games just fine, and that's not an issue, for me I thought about the length of time i'm going to have this phone for!

Lets say in a years time when people have all got 2ghz phones, the desire hd has been overclocked to it's potential and so has the desire z, the games which will be out then will stand a much better chance of running with every bit of horsepower that you can throw at it. So for me the hd is better than the Z For ram and for processor speed and overclocking potential.
