here in NYC two companies that will have them are J&R Music and Computer World and B&H Photo Video. I like B&H a tiny bit better. Online, you either have the company itself Archos or Tigerdirect.
Tigerdirect has been confirmed of gettign them today and by the end of the week will ship them out to pre-order customers.
i myself would like to get one, but i will hold up till i can see both at the B&H store to see which one actually feels better in my hand.
Although Sprint just announced that the Galaxy Tab would be sold for $399, that price does not include the extra 30-60 dollar data plan.
Pros having the Archos:
Smaller, lighter, thinner
Cheaper in the long run
able to run every multimedia format out there
Pocketable (using the 70 version)
Adjustable kickstand (both the 70 and 101)
Not stuck on a 1-2 year plan tied to a carrier
Cons having the Archos:
No 3G or 4G service
Having to carry an additional device for 3G/4G service (EVO, mifi, etc)
Cons that can be fixed:
Access to Android market via hack
Android 2.1 upgraded to 2.2
Access to Google Apps via hack
There's probably more, but these are the ones off the top of my head.
