I'm not mad, it just gets old hearing everyone who hates Samsung (or should I say Evo owners) go back to the Instinct. And if the Instinct was just another feature phone (like it really was) it would be a non issue lumped in to all the other swing and a miss buggy touchscreen feature phones. People wanted it to be a smartphone and it just never was. Sprint plays a role in phones getting updated. They EOL'd the i500 and dumped the i550 after Samsung invested big time in development I'm sure because they were to busy blowing Palm. The i500 needed some simple tweaks due to system changes Sprint made and they refused and told everyone to get a brick of a Palm phone that had its own issues.
I never tried to refute anything about the Epic's bugs. I'm thankfully not really effected by them either. I'm also on record as saying both phones are good with appeal to different groups. I myself probably would never have bought the Epic if I enjoyed typing on screen. It's just not productive when doing DTG work, and I'm just more efficient with a real keyboard, sometimes quicker than using swype. Neither phone to me was worth jumping to the other unless you had a deal breaker or two in there.
As far as updates, the Moment just recently had an update pushed to it. And it ain't gettin' 2.2 just like the Hero and Eris which haven't really had any updates either. If people are going to trash a company on updates, at least get the argument right. Trash the Behold II for getting jilted at the 2.1 altar.
But really, I had zero respect for your post the minute you said you were an Instinct owner
I'm sure you were all set to throw it in your iphone loving friends' faces, and were like, damn, it sucks. (I kid, I kid)
