Hello,
I just switched to Eris from WinMo HTC XV6800.
On the old phone I had all my email accounts, Exchange, Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail.
I could open the mail app and see all accounts as a list and then select which account to access the new email as it would show which accounts had new mail.
On the Eris, when I get a new email notification, I have no idea which email account the new mail is for. I have to open mail, then touch to open the pulldown of accounts and then check each one , one by one until I dig out the new email.
Is there an easier way to see all new mail in an overview list of all accounts on the Eris?
[an app suggestion maybe?]

All in all loving the phone after 48 hours but the email use seems clunky and slows down my productivity.
Thanks in advance
Kevin

You're doing it the long way around... The name of the email account the message came from is (should be) listed in the notification. If you tap the message in the notification dropdown, it will take you directly to the account the message arrived in. No need to hunt thru all your accounts. ;)

If that doesn't work, you may have accidently set more than one of your accounts to use the same email account name. If you set them to use different account names (I usually name them with the full email address), then it should work the way I described. Try going to each of your accounts in the email app and make sure the first field of the settings is different for each account. (Select the account in the mail app, then > Menu > More > Settings > Account settings. The field you want to edit is the one that appears all by itself on the first settings page.)

Good luck.
