I always use phone sounding ring tones and very subtle single note beeps for texts and emails. I have never got into the songs as ringtones, dunno why.

It is usually awkward in business settings when a song randomly starts playing too.

myxer.com and now they have qr codes you can scan for your ringtone which makes it nice
