i love this genius button!!

no, lets say you want to do a text.
you just press the genius button, then you say
"send text to alex" and you then keep talking the text
"hey alex whats up, ill see you later"
when you stop talking the WHOLE text is done and
ready to be sent.
you can hit the genius button and say, "find mcdonalds"
it will find mcdonalds closest to you and navigate you there.
it is a really cool thing when you get used to it, and
it works awesome. you can say "call alex" and it will call
you can do say "find" whatever and it will google it and find it.
the genius button uses all VOICE COMMANDS of call/send/search/find
you can say "send e-mail to joe i will be there at little late" and
it will set up the whole e-mail for you and fill in the text.

quite technically any android phone can do that. all you need to do is press and hold the search button, wait for the microphone to pop up and then talk away. while it isnt as fluid as the genius button it did the same thing. Plus the dragon dictation understands your voice much much better.

i do miss having a search button though..

What I dont see any mention of the ability to have an entire text conversation w/o ever touching the phone ( hands free option ) Allows me to search, call, txt, w/o every touching or pressing anything on the phone, I use the JB Icon and all commands are flawless w this

i am absolutely loving this genius button. i forced myself to
use it a couple times and now i am absolutely hooked on it.
it use for all my texts, calls, ect..., i am so impressed with
this, i don't think i could live without it now.
i should also say, I LOVE THE MYSENSE, IT IS SO NICE.

DITTO!

I just have one question: How can I have my texts, emails and calls spoken to me while on Driving Mode?? The G button is in my status bar when it's Enabled, but when I get emails, nothing happens!

you have to enter into "car dock" mode, once you
go into car dock mode it will read you texts to you as
you drive. so in the pre-installed apps just hit"car dock"
and you will see what i mean.

Actually I'm having the same problem while it's IN car dock mode. Nothing's being read. I thought @ first that it was just really soft & my radio was covering it, but no, nothing's being read :(.

I tested the genius button for the first time the other day, sending a text to someone. It was pretty neat :). I may have to use that more.

Absolutely love using it for texting! Thank you! I just thought I could use it to open texts or call someone but now I've been doing it for the whole text. Wonderful!!!

atfirst i thought the genius button was stupid and a gimmick. Well i deliver for a living and i use my phone as a gps. As it turns out texting, calling, or doing anything with the genius button is a breeze. I love it.

By the way, coffee with me, I hope youre marine is okay and stays safe!

I'm so glad I found these forums. I'm learning so many new things about my phone! I'm in happy mode all day long with my phone. LOL

My Marine is doing great so far. He's lonely but super busy. Thankfully we have email pretty much all the time and that helps. :)
