Help Android 2.2 and Touchdown... Killing Me.

Has anyone else had this problem?
No.

Touchdown has been working wonderfully on my Droid X.

Did you try going into applications in the settings menu, going to touchdown, deleting cache and data, and then the nitrodesk folder on the SD card and then uninstalling and reinstalling?

That should certainly give you a clean install of the app.

I assume you are using the newest version as well?

Sorry your having problems, OP, but Touchdown works great for me. It worked on 2.1, 2.2 stock, Apex and RubiX. It sounds to me like your phone needs a factory reset if it's running that slow on 2.2. Formatting the SD card (back up photos, etc... to your computer before you do) is probably a good idea, too. I know it's a PITA to set everything back up again, but with stock 2.2, your phone should not have dramatically slowed. In fact, it should be faster.

Lex... That seems to have addressed the problem. The entire unit is faster now. Thank you very much!

yeah, if you ever have any problems with any specific app, doing what lex said usually fixes the problem. if the whole phone has any more issues, i would just do a factory reset. a small number of phones saw problems after the transition from 2.1 to 2.2, and a factory data reset cleared it right up.
