Help Baseband refusing to update

I just recently updated my phone from the 2.1 that came stock on my incredible to CyanogenMod 6.0.1 (i didn't do 6.0.2 because it gave me com.android.email errors)

this was my phone on stock 2.1 (BEFORE i updated anything)

and my signature is my phones specs right now.

i downloaded the most up-to-date radio (right now it's 2.15.00.09.01) from this thread directly to the root my sdcard using DownThemAll! (it's a firefox extension (normally used for porn) that has an integrated MD5 checker). i did not change the original filename (PB31IMG.zip).

i have already S-Off'ed my phone, and verified that the bootloader says S-Off. when the bootloader loads it freezes for a moment then prints out some text that disappears faster than i can read. after it prints the disappearing text the bootloader unfreezes and works fine. i believe the bootloader is checking the sdcard and prints out what it finds, and it is unresponsive to me while it's scanning the card.

i recorded my screen with a digital camera, and paused it so i caught what it prints:

notice how it says "no image!" when PB31IMG.zip is on the card, and seems to infer PB31DIAG.nbh and PB31IMG.nbh are somehow different (because they get a different error)

is there something i forgot to do to update my radio? i'd like to get off 1.00.03.04.06

Is your sd card formatted to fat32? Double check the md5 hash for the radio. You are correct about the error you are getting, h-boot is not recognizing the radio you downloaded which either means the file is corrupt, your card is not formatted to fat32, or the file is not on the root of your sdcard.

When the radio loads correctly you should get a prompt asking you to press "volume up" to apply the update.

you know, every link i've read on updating a radio has said it has to be FAT or FAT16 (which i also read are the same thing) or it can cause issues. i reformatted the card to FAT32 and the update worked, except now i'm in a boot loop but it's no problem because i haven't had the opportunity to change much since i first flashed cyanogen. i'll only be set back a couple days
