Yes i have finally made my mind up.

After having to exchange the MT4G 4 times, and still not being cimpletely happy with it after 10 days, im going to give my wife the vibrant for keeps. She loves the screen and reads kindle books all day.

Now me, i was tempted to get an vibrant for myself too but i've been spoilt on a few things from the other phones ive used..

1. flash for close up pictures that night mode just isnt quite enough

2. dedicated camera button

3. hardware (non capacative) buttons

So i think i might, despite the fact you cannot do voice and data at the same time, go back to the droid x

`Ghost`, `Ghost`, `Ghost`...you sir are a phone fanatic. So you're going to go with Big Red, huh? I was with them long ago but became pretty torqued over them hobbling the GPS on my BlackBerry. T-Mobile has been good to me actually. AT&T just plain sucked wind.

Apparently I missed it all...what were the troubles with the MT4G?

wait a few days, do an exchange, then before your grace period with that phone is up, the new samsung nexus s should be out. we have yet to get confirmation on the power of the cpu/gpu, but even if it's the same as the galaxy s lineup, the fact that it's running "STOCK" android 2.3(gingerbread), it should run alot faster than the vibrant. touchwiz slows the phone down alot, but if it's on stock android it should run alot smoother, and i bet it'll blow everything else away when it comes to the quadrant. i'm willing to bet that samsung has at least put in a faster cpu though. if they want to set a new standard for phones, they really need to push the boundaries.

oh come on i havent made THAT many...

>.>

<.<

2 on the first DX from Best buy

3 on the HTC G2

4 on the MT4G

i have bad luck with phones.

Despite the fact that the Droid X takes terribad pictures at night, and it has a discolored hue in the middle of all the videos, i was actually the most happy with the DX. the screen rocked face, and the phone was just solid all around.

oh, and the nexus S /nexus 2 is UGLY as sin. i have no interest.

Well i dont care which phone you end up with but i dont see anything nice looking about the DX. Not to mention for me, it is just too big. Vibrant is as big as i want my phone to be. The DX is nearly a 1/2" longer.
Too bad the MT4G has so many bugs. Now im not interested in it and i did like that its prospects.

I also doubt the Nexus S will have the finished product looking like the picture we saw. From the link i posted, it seems they are revamping it already.
