IS this the complete theme? Why is the file only 6653kb where as the previous ones were 30,855? Should I flash back to Vanilla Fission before flashing? Thanks.

Can I also suggest theming the droid-x camera icons? I think most people prefer the Droid-x over stock android. Although I did just purchase vignette and its kinda a neat toy.

dont forget you can look through your app drawer and make sure what you want isnt in there, as well as boot into fission folder and flash dx camera, or i can slip any icon you want into the camera folder.

any other thoughts?

Hmm my video icon does not look like that,

I was thinking that flashing your theme removed my DX camera, since I did not see it in the app drawer, so I installed it back, but the icons were not themed (they are they are there though). I just figured the DX camera was pretty standard so you might theme them, but then I don't know what that would do to peoples icons where they didn't add the droid-x camera...Would it have to also give them the camera?

Got any links so I can learn to theme stuff as well? I'd just want to play. I haven't had any time to look at the SDK and eclipse plugins yet. So much to do and so little time....

BTW good work, although I think the problem with white text may keep poping up on apps that are white on white.

edit: Just checked, installing the theme linked above removes the Droid-X Camera., so when you re-install it the icons are not themed.

1 make a copy of the theme you like on your desktop
2 store an original somewhere else on the computer
3 download and install 7 zip (then find it in all programs under start bar and put a shortcut on the desktop)
4 open 7zip and navigate around untill you find the theme on your destop (there is an up icon on left that lets you move back and double clicking moves you into something) .....you may have to find your way into c drive then users then your name/computer name then desktop.

5 open up your theme and go through to "system" then you can either go into apps or sytstem....sytem had like the battery and arrows and menu and stuff....apps can vary but if its in there then that app will be themed according to that folder in your apps folder if that app is on your phone.

6 whichever you go into go to "framework" and then res then drawable hdpi.
these are all just pictures that get told to show at certain time during use.

7 (i didnt know you could do this at first) make a folder on your desktop and call it "icons"....go back to 7zip and find the drop down menu then "select all"
8 right click on one of the highlighted .png's and select "copy to" then find you folder you just made and copy to there.
you havent changed whats in 7 zip or the theme.

9 go into the folder you just made and take a look around....you can drag any of these into paint.net and change around....i suggest clicking view and blowing it up as big as it gets, you ll see the pixels. using the eraser to blacnk out then the paint can to color what you want. (havent installed one that way, but should work)...

10 or you can open another theme you like and go to the same drawable hdpi folder and find the thing you want to change....then drag it over to the other 7zip with your base theme and it will overwrite what was in there with the new file.

11 if you use a different named file then copy what you want to change to the desktop, right click and open properties, delete the old file, right click/rename the new one and copy the name as it is exactly written from the properties box from the old one and save, then drap drop into the same folder the old came from.

12 android will scale a to large pic down to what it needs (the icon for spare parts i used was huge buy i could get it to crop right so i just shoved it in there and it worked great).

13 always use png's or convert a pic to a png....names are important and png is important....

14 now your desktop is a damn mess and you're not sure what to do next....lol....:)

If you wanted to change an idividual icon for a specific app you can do that using Ninja morph lite. I can write up a quick tutorial if you'd like just let me know. You just need to have the .png of what you want to replace it with. I just tested it out to make sure you could do it the way I'm thinking of and it took me less than 3 minutes lol. And it's really easy

and i wasnt being a smart arse....im just playing around with icons and showing how quick once you get the hang of it....
if you can come up with a pic or want something done ill try to work on it....theme for free lol....

see changed it out again already;

though going into that fission folder im not so sure about....i may mess with it later....:)

really suggestions dont bother me at all....i have no artistic talent :(

Haha no worries we know you're not being a smart ass lol.
So are you then flashing that to your phone each time?? if you wanted you can do all that you're talking about on your phone (except actually editing of png's) so then you don't have to reflash it everytime just after you do a few reboot.

not sure on widgets....need to learn.
it is 20%, the original approve rom carried only 6 places and the one with the style icon i wanted carried 21 so i had to use 0,4,8,12,16,20.
0 being empty and 20 being full.

yeah, im cool with doing it that way....i appr. it though.

If you applied the 10% zip and DX Camera then themed it would be way cooler. Then again not sure if it would get approval then? Missing the 10%... I can live with un-themed camera icons (Ill theme those myself) I guess. Just a suggestion, don't trying to be pushy.
