Root DX Darkslide V3

Haven't seen this listed here. Has some really nice features and the theme is well done. Have gotten my highest Quad and Linpack with this ROM, which really means nothing in the long run but some folks seem to think so. I will say it runs at 1.4GHZ stable which is a first time for my X.

I've seen this before at MyDroidWorld and it's listed on our roms list, but looking at the picture again, it, in a way, looks more like a theme than a rom. I've never seen so much color on a rom before.

Also, I'm impressed with your OC'ing to 1.4. I can only do 1.35 consistently, to this point. Hm...

this is awesome, i have loaded rubix apex fission and a few others and to begin with all of the others had a few glitches from the start, i have loaded this and it has been behaving like it should, i have not noticed my 3G drop as much as i have with the others, with this i havent really had the need to install a theme since it has quite a bit of replaced graphics. overall you guys should give this a go Thanks BBcrackman good ol BB friend.

I tried it this morning for a while and it is pretty nice, my only "complaint" would be that the battery only shows 20% increments.

This ROM seems very stable even running OC'd at 1.45 and I got my highest ever quadrant score over 1900 (I was hoping it would be better, oh well, prolly my phone).

Thanks to gates for help with the install. Will donate shortly.

I haven't tried Apex yet but I saw some people were having random reboots esp OC'd. I've been running this for a half day at 1.45 w/o so much as a stutter. Install is easy as hell with the updated instructions. Worth trying IMVHO.

Only anomaly I had was I lost my stock DX wallpapers, not the live ones, the static ones which honestly I never used. Don't think anyone else reported this either.

Benefits over Fabolous' ApeX 1.0?

I have tried everything out and ApeX is a great ROM and has always been my go to ROM when others crashed or just plain won't run. The scripts for ApeX are an advantage, I flashed this over ApeX, the ROM auto formats for you but some pieces of ApeX remain. I have had no issues with DSV3 other than OCing well beyond the limit of my X.
