Help New to Android

I recently purchased a MyTouch 4g and am having some issues with setting some functions up.

Smart Spelling is the biggest.

Getting rid of the vibe function when keys are pressed...

I have everything turned on and off in the settings section... but no luck

settings>language & keyboard>Android keyboard

make sure show suggestions and auto complete are unchecked

Getting rid of the vibe function when keys are pressed...

Any leads on how to break up the phonebook into different categories? My work phonebook is HUGE and I am not into it that often...

go into contacts. Then hit menu > View You can break it up there. I only have my gmail account with contacts checked.
