I am scared for you to do anything with your phone after what happened last time!

Most Rom's do in fact come with a kernel chosen by or cooked by that dev. What does the baked snack thread on xda say?

Where is it that you are getting your ROM's? Most of this information you ask for is in the first post of each individual ROM's thread on xda

well, it really depends on what you want...

he has some others that you can download and flash depending on your preferences. But really really make sure you are comfortable with it. It's honestly not any different than flashing a ROM and I never really was able to figure out how you ended up where you were last time (but glad you got it fixed)

As for m last situation that i fixed... before i flashed my kernel i forgot to wipe both Cache's

yeah don't forget to do that! I always do it twice to be safe..and I wipe battery stats too
