Nope..you don't have to be rooted it will work on any ROM rooted stock or other.

im sorry i know this is going to be a newb question. i currently have the 928 droids black glass theme and am running launcherpro. in order to use this theme do i have to uninstall that theme go back to stock and then upload this theme or can i simply try to load this theme and it will automatically unload the black glass one and replace it with this one.. and also would i have to uninstall launcherpro to reinstall it to make it work with this theme.im sorry once again for the newb question just kinda new at this and m trying to do everything properly..and thank you for all the help

Lol..no worries man.
This only is only a themed app of LauncherPro, you don't have to uninstall or install any theme to run it.
You can use it with any theme ya want.
Just uninstall your current version of LauncherPro, then download the themed one you want, navigate to it, then install it and ur done, bear in mind the widgets are only able to be used if you have purchaced the unlock for it. That can be found in preferences, then scroll down to buy LauncherPro or something like that.

I'm confused by this whole themed version of LPP. I uninstalled my current version, downloaded the zip file and used astro to install it. However, my notification bar remains unchanged and I was under the impression that this theme would overwrite it with the version they had in the images on the site (in the case of the one I downloaded, a black notification bar).

What am I doing wrong?

This will only theme LP App and nothing else, your notification bar is part of ur system/framework-res.apk, you will need a full theme to change that, this only changes LP App.

Yes I would like to know as well because I uninstalled and used my license key and nothing changed looks exactly as it does when you install it..I don't see anything like what the pic shows..So those who know can you explain how to get that loook..Thanks

Same answer ...it will only change LP App and not anything else...if you check out the LP widgets they are skinned or themed right?
