Now that the phone has been out for half a year, should i get this phone or wait for the inevitable galaxy 2 phone to come out? This phone looks really cool but I'm not sure what to do.
Oh and currently I have the samsung impression..and honestly it is really bad. It's leggy and glitchy and not very fun at all. Anything will be an improvement to this phone. I love my jailbroken itouch so the android system seems perfect for me
Yeah if you can live with your current phone then wait.
It's up to you whether you can live with the quirks or whether it'd be preferable to live with your current phone.
A phone that shuts off by itself is a REALLY big annoyance.

And whoever is craving for dual core must carry like a pocket of spare batteries around.
+1, well said.i was on the fence but ended up buying the captivate. AMAZING phone. There was a couple things that could have been improved but with all the support from the community, ran a few programs that omtimized the performance and the phone literally flies now with everything i do. Always something around the corner, but you won't be missing out if you pick up the captivate~
Well I'm fairly knowledgable of how to jailbeak and to get all the custom backgrounds and roms and thats mainly why I want the Captivate because of the Android system and how customizable it is.
An unrooted Android phone is more-customizable than a jailbroken iPhone.
wait..captivate has alot of bugs
