New Verizion Promotion

Went to the VZ store yesterday and got in on a new promotion they started.

If you were on the 49 unlimited calling plan with 450 daytime and unlimited nights and weekends and unlimited VZ to VZ calling.

You can now get on the 59 unlimited plan, with 450 daytime, unlimited nights and weekends and unlimited mobile to mobile (anybody) plan + unlimited texting.

Since most of the people I call aren't on VZ, this is a benefit for me. They did it no questions asked with no adjustment to my contract dates or anything. Even back dated it to the start of service day for November.

end result for me, $5 more, and I get unlimited to all my friends not just the VZ ones.

Just putting it out there.

This only applies for people in certain regions. I am in Houston and tried to get it but apparently not only do you need to be in a certain region you have to have a number for that region too...

I'm all for their "select markets in TX" to be Houston!

Houston is one of the select markets in TX but you can't just live there you need to have a Houston phone number too which sadly I don't and I am not going to give up my number for this promotion.

Yep, got that marketing text about this promotion and I am on the phone now with them. Rep is saying I am eligible and it is not going to increase my rate one bit. Going to go for it and get his rep id or name whatever just to be safe but unlimited talk and text for no cost is a no brainer to me
