Good luck trying to get it to pair and function with the Evo running any sense ROM or running stock...

With the HTC sense crap, it creates bluetooth issues that dont' allow for controllers to be paired with your phone. I.E. Wii Controllers for emulators, mice and keyboards, etc. If you wanna root and run CM, that works fine, but you lose a good bit of stuff, 4G namely the big one.

ok i just tried to activate the application software on the phone like 10 times. it says it failed, not only that... it said if it fails once you wont have a second chance

I know this is a very old thread, but since there is almost no information about these Chinese bluetooth keyboards and it took me hours to figure this out, I decided to post this here. This board ranks high in Google and other frustrated users might be able to benefit from this.

First of all, the CD that comes with it is useless. The manual is poorly translated and the driver doesn't work. Posts on the internet say it is because the manufacturer didn't pay its software driver license fees... whatever...

So, other posts will tell you to enable bluetooth on your phone, enter 0000 on the phone and 0000+enter on the bluetooth keyboard. The keyboard will be paired with the phone but it will not be connected. I imagine that at this point most people probably toss the little keyboard in the garbage.

I decided to check the driver namespaces for the broken apk, and it appears that the driver software company is called teksoft.com. So I went to their site and found that they do exist and they offer an HID driver called BlueInput. I tried the free version and it works just fine (although it does have some ads). So far the only keys that did not map correctly for me are the less-than and greater-than signs (I really need them because I program html). Anyway, for most people this driver should make them happy. The name is BlueInput Driver for Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse, Version:2.2.225.

There are other drivers from other companies that will apparently connect bluetooth keyboards. I tried another one called BlueKeyboard JP, but that one did not work. Only the alpha numerical characters worked, which makes it useless for me.

Good luck with this P.O.S. keyboard. I can't believe they keep selling these things all over the internet and expect users to figure out how to make it work. Sure it is cheap at $8, but you get what you pay for.
