Price includes $100 gift card.
Then I would guess you would want to do it over the phone or online.Wow, our Wal-Marts don't sell Sprint, only Verizon, AT&T and TMobile.
You don't read so good the price I quoted for an upgrade is still the same. The $89.99 is for new lines only. You got me all excited. I was ready to call their customer service and read them the riot act until I found your mistake.Walmart is now down to $89.99 after the $100 walmart gift card.

Does anyone know if Bestbuy will price match against these deals from WM? I paid the $250 at bestbuy and still have time to return with my 30 days, but i'd rather they just match the deal?
This is from their website:Went and talked to the reps at my best buy store and they told me that if you can provide proof of the price from a major retailer such as wal mart they will match it. They said that they didnt think that they could match the gift card for 100 but the 129.99. I would go talk to a store manager about the gc if its that big of a deal to you... I would go to wal mart imo, they have always been good to me with returns and exchanges... and there warrantees have always been good just like sams club.... 100 gc is sweetness on top of the already sweet epic....
so can someone explain how this is done? i've only purchased through sprint in the past. so if you buy through wal-mart, if anything happens to the phone, do you have to deal with wal-mart and not sprint?
The first 30 days, you have to return it to where you bought it. After that, you can take it to a corporate store.
also, i have a corporate discount from my company on my plan. if i went through wal-mart, would that continue as well?
It should
been waiting for a price drop. i didn't realize you could turn around and use the $100 gift card towards the purchase.
I think that's about exactly what I said. That said, the deal is basically only good at the Wal-Mart's Lets Talk website since none of my local stores have had an Epic 4G in months. Granted, the $100 GC is available for all smart phones even in your local store. I guess it might be up to the BB store manager to accept an Online ad to match with, but BB's corporate policy is not to as quoted in my previous post.Last time i went to best buy and bought an item i had seen another item at another electronic store ad that i was planning on making a trip to go get just that morning. so i asked best buy if they matched prices they said yes, went on their computers pulled up they other stores website and matched price from there. And just so you know this item wasnt a 5 dollar item it was over 300 dollars. So just food for your thought, really doubt they would match gc for you but hey just go to wal mart and save yourself all the trouble and get 100 dollars worth of something else for free!!!
Couldn't trade in old phone with upgrade on family plan.hmmm...so are the deals different across the US? I'm in Texas and when I type in my zip code it comes up as $189 with an upgrade, not $129. And you are right, the $100 gift card cannot be applied at the time of sale, the site just words it really loosely (but that's marketing for you).
PS, just noticed that it is "backordered" so I wonder if a few people were able to get this deal, and they'll shaft the rest of us...
Also to someone's point above, you can trade in your old phone. But the avg. trade in value for my samsung moment is $53.71 (I think i'll keep it for that amount)
Just confirmed, the price in San Anton is $129.99 also. And it no longer shows backordered.hmmm...so are the deals different across the US? Like I said before, none of my local Wal-marts have had an Epic 4G in stock for months. They have the EVO. You'd have to call to see. The $100 gift card is available both online and in Stores.is this deal online only? would prefer to walk into a store and get this deal
Yeah since this morning and until UPS delivers my Epic (soon I hope). I called then to complain and he said he would start a ticket that would result in cancellation of my upgrade and I wouldn't get my Moment number working for a couple days. I told him to forget about it, I could live for a little while without a working phone.oh wow, so you have to be phoneless for a while for this deal?
Sprint. Having looked at the steps in the process, activation then shipping, I was sorta half expecting that. But in all my past transactions, activation didn't actually happen until the phone was in my hand. So, I was sorta happy that it wasn't done a couple days ago when it shipped. So, when I tried to use it this morning and it didn't work, I was po'd. The Sprint rep was very empathetic and agreed that shouldn't have happened.is that Sprint or Wal-Mart you talked to?
