Can you guys/girls please help me decide....Upgrade now?? Or wait till something new comes out in the coming weeks....I want the new phone b4 Christmas :D

Me too. I'm trying to hold out for the Incredible HD.

Verizon's new commercial gives me hope.

I agree about the new phone before Christmas because I'm in the exact same situation.

I was originally looking at the Droid X, but unfortunately didn't like it a lot, despite my repeated trips to the VZW store to play with it.

I liked the Incredible, but feel weird getting a phone that was released quite a while ago.

The Fascinate is a really nice phone, but I have heard about some issues with GPS and Samsung's delayed updates, so while the Fascinate isn't eliminated, it's not my top choice.

For the longest time, my top choice was the Incredible HD (Mecha?). I found out a while ago that it wasn't coming out until Feb and would be LTE, but recently VZW said their launching LTE in December which may mean that the Inc HD would come out earlier, or just in a 3g form. -- If this comes out, it will most likely be the phone to get for VZW - similar to the EVO4g.

If you're a fan of physical keyboards, the HTC Merge should definitely be coming out before Christmas. There have been leaks everywhere and "Miami" recently said to just give it another week or so. Some people have been hating on the fact that it is 800mHZ, but it's a next-gen processor and supposedly runs consistently faster than 1gHZ snapdragons.

Some of these phones are also Binged out. I don't know if that would be a problem for you, but it's not for me. I have never really understood the true hatred for Bing, but providing the Bing advocate concedes that Google is still better (It is.), there shouldn't be any objections.

Obviously, no one can tell you what phone you'll want exactly. When these phones hopefully come out, take a trip to the VZW store and play with them. The Droid Pro is available to play with right now and is a neat little handset with a candybar-style and physical keyboard. Good luck with your decision. Hope this helps.

My Personal:
1st. Incredible HD
2nd. HTC Merge
3rd. Samsung Fascinate/DINC/DX

I doubt that you will see the Incredible HD before February 2011. Verizon might charge extra for the LTE access too, like EVO's data premium.

Droid Terminator might in fact be a tablet.

HTC Merge, or Droid Merge might be before Christmas, but then again, there are rumors it might be turned to LTE.

My personal recommendation which is indeed coming out, is the Droid 2 Global, history's first factory 1.2Ghz smartphone. Has GSM bands too. Think about it, there is at least 400MHz difference between the Global and the Merge.

As for Bing, its Verizon taking both Microsoft and Google to the cleaners.

I believe Microsoft pays Verizon to put Bing on the phones.

On the other hand, I believe that while Google does not pay Verizon outright, it pays Verizon a commission on the mobile search ad hits done with Google Mobile Search on Verizon Android devices.

Merge has Android 2.2, and Android Market has the Google Search widget, Froyo edition, and Google Maps. So the user can install them on the Merge even when you got Bing on it.

So Microsoft pays Verizon for phones to be Bing'ed, but users download the Google apps and still google away, resulting in Google paying Verizon search commission.

If you really like the phone, why not just get it? Best buy has them for $1 on their Black Friday sale. If I enjoy a phone a lot, I'd rather get it than hope that another thing I enjoy a lot comes out soon. Is there a phone you are actually waiting for? I guess my question is, is do you have a phone with at least rumored specs that you are looking at to replace the Droid Incredible, or are you just hoping that something new comes out? I played this game for a couple weeks, mostly because no phone truly had all the features I was wanting.
