Root ROM problems

hi all im in need of some assistance here, see every rom i install is just recently having reboot problems and its starting to become a large problem, i first noticed a problem after installing rubix i would reboot 5-8 times in one day usually after i sent a text or something of that nature. i assumed it was just the rom so i sbf to stock and i had a problem there as well i got a bootloop right after an sbf so i got to recovery and cleared everything, it that brought me to stock 2.2 and from there i reinstalled everything and put on apex, i chose apex because i had used it the past and it did not give me any issues , but after a few hours i was experiencing reboots like crazy still usually after sending a text or doing something in widget locker. i thought it was widget locker so i disabled it when that didnt work i thought it was the texting app that came with apex so i switched to handcent, that didnt work so than i thought maybe it was better keyboard so i disabled that and it got better but it was still rebooting way too much so, what do you guys think it is... sorry for the wall of txt i just wanted you to know everything right off the bat

well did you turn off the oc that comes built in?..you may want to try ...also dont restore any app data when going from one rom to the next .....this way you can reinstall one by one and maybe monitor your phones behavior after installing each app....this may sound tedious but it may be what you have to do

i actually did turn off the built in oc until i thought the app i was using was the problem than i turned it on and turned the app off

see what happens if you turn oc off and ditch the app as well

also this seems to be a noted problem with the official 2.2 ...

Yeah but this is odd because it never happened before I always had good luck overclocking and rarely had any reboots
