I rely on this site for most of my decisions to where to spend my hard , very hard - earned, dollars.

Thank you for keeping them honest, so far I've been 10000% happy with all I've bought thanx to the great users here.

Fight the good fight bigbadwulff! I hope developers realize how great of a resource this site is. Honest developers can get excellent feedback from users, along with free publicity. My pet peeve is the developers who come in here touting their games asking us to play their games; then we give them feedback and they disappear, never to be heard from again. The best developers use our feedback to make their games better...

The feedback we've had for our game has been fantastic, it's allowed us to see a bit more clearly what needs tweaking (current main change being worked on - mid-game saving! ). I think sometimes there's a danger of getting too close to your project and spending so much effort that you get a bit precious about it, or just too close-minded to accept other opinions - in which case, your game is never going to get better!

There is one guy on here who gets right on my goat, not only has he created a sockpuppet account claiming to be a fan of his game, he's also reviewed other titles in the same genre, giving them a bad rating and saying how his game is better. He left near-identical comments on our game, Retro Defense and Robo Defense to promote his own. Grrr!
