Root Need senseless recommendation.

I'm looking for a senseless rom. One of my major concerns is getting the HTC browser as I don't like the android browser. I don't want aosp as I am in NYC and have great 4G coverage. I tried vaelpak but the HTC browser kept crashing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I personally think Festo's post made mroe sense than yours but I think this can be resolved by just clearing up some terminology

are you refering to the internet browser? you aslo mention the sense ui
I am worried that some may be confusing what you are refering to as "the browser"

do you mean the user interface? or the internet browser?

Ok, let me get this straight. You want an AOSP-like ROM, but don't want to go full AOSP because you want to keep 4g. You don't like the AOSP browser, though, and want to keep the HTC one. Is that correct?

If so, how did you go about getting the the HTC browser installed? I see from the Vaelpak thread on xda that it comes with the AOSP browser by default, and the HTC one is available in /sdcard/vaelpak-extras/Replaced. Is that what you installed and is now crashing?

Another AOSP-like sense rom is EVO-NonSense. You can find it on xda. It, too, has the AOSP browser, though, and I'm not sure if the HTC browser is readily available for it on the sdcard like it is with vaelpak.

Or, like wase4711 suggested, just use a different browser.

What would you refer to as the browser? I do know the difference between launcher and browser. You being confused has nothing to do with my post.

Thank you for your response. You understood exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately every time I reboot the browser defaults to the aosp.
