Root Themes?

Where is the best place to get trustworthy themes? I see them posted here and there but is there one place that has a lot of them (maybe even with screenshots?)

Here is the best place for a central reference: http://androidforums.com/droid-x-all-things-root/215248-droid-x-roms-here.html It's going to be updated soon. You see, the roms are all over the internet. Mydroidworld, droidXforums, XDA forums, etc... all over, so you have to hunt.

You have to use all at your own risk, but generally they are good and the developers are hard working and honest.

+1.....also read up on the rom you want to instal as only certain themes may work on that rom ...not all themes can work on all roms

I am using blurry. I tried NexTheme and its what I am looking for but doesn't seem to work right (gmail FC'ed after install) on this rom. I just want a basic black bar and battery %. I also don' t want anything that adds its name to the notification bar

Any suggestions?

FYI Gmail force close is common after flashing a theme.

Menu/Settings/Applications/ManageApplications/All/Gmail

And press the "Clear Data" box. Then return to your home screen and open the Gmail app, it will close promptly but upon reopening you will see its re-syncing your mail. No more FC.

If you have ROM Manager look at BlackModz Returns by Onix Concepts in the download section. It may be what you are looking for.

stupid question. What is abd?

When I installed "NexTheme 10% Circle Battery Mod" blurry wouldn't load. I had to restore a backup. Not compatible?

it only works with Apex 1.0 rom themed with NexTheme for Apex.

The other one only works with Apex 1.0 themed REVOlution. That's what I use.
