anybody know where to find this android logo decal?

i have found tons of robot decals, but cannot find a script one anywhere. i am looking for something like this:

in a relatively large size. i have a tablet on the way and i definitely want to cover up the manufacturer logos and let people know that it is NOT an ipad, lol.

Have you tried going to skinit.com and designing one yourself to fit your tablet and just making that logo the whole sticker? Or you could add something else also if you wanted.

I have a skinit on my Droid X and I was very impressed with the quality and how well they hold

That clears things up. Kind of strange that they would let the robot, which is the mascot, be used but not the typeface.

It's kind of funny, because you can't copywrite/trademark a typeface in the united states.

I didn't know that eiter. So does that mean that the above info is essentially null and void in the US? That is to say, I can use that typeface without getting Google's legal ninja's on my @$$?

It gets tricky. You can't use their typeface generator, however, you can build your own.

don't know why i didn't think of that! am i all in the clear to use the android typeface logo on something i make for myself at skinit?

I personally wouldn't worry about it as long as you are just ordering one for yourself and that is it. It sounds like it is ok, but the only way you would ever get in any trouble over it anyways is if you started making more and selling them without Google's permission.

This is true! Did you know (since I have the equipment for it and all) I can use anyone's legally re-created logo on garments, cut vinyl, or other consumables of my choosing. So I can put an Adidas logo on a pair of jeans, and it's perfectly legal, unless I try to distribute(even free), sell, or otherwise give it to someone.
