Having some Hero Issues (rooted with fresh)

So I recently rooted my phone. I have fresh 1.0 as well. Ok so here are the problems Im having

#1. I charged my battery 100 percent before bed last night, when I woke up it was totally gone (asking me to plug in the charger)

#2 So I go to plug it in and it wont charge. I uninstall dolphine browser and it starts charging

#3. My phone feel hot and warm while charging/regular use.

I have no task manager either. Please help me figure this out. It seems Im constantly charging my phone. It wont even last half a day

Hate to say it, but you're not having HERO issues, you are having FRESH 1.0 issues. Your title for this thread is misleading...

i would still say its a hero issue as well (since I have a hero) Im asking because I dont know if its fresh or what.

It should if you want to be able to recieve text messages.

hahaha, I beg to disagree, without Dolphin, or Fresh, I don't remember reading any similar issues... So not a Hero issue, lol...

The HEAT I would worry about, because nothing kills electronics quicker than HEAT, including your battery! Could be that one of those (Dolphin or Fresh) is causing an allergic reaction to your Hero, lol...

Is there an app which measures the processor performance or use? I would be interested to know if your Hero is getting locked at 100% cpu...

Hybrid is probably best, but you can chose one of the other settings if you like. I have tried to force EvDo but it works just the same...

Anyway... Hope you fix your issues...

How do I find out if its locked at 100 cpu. As far as the heat issue it was happening before I even knew of fresh or had dolphine.

I disagree with both of you. I rooted last friday to Fresh 1.0, and also have Dolphin Browser on my Hero... I think its something else... Although, I have noticed the backside of my phone getting warm durring charging...

So, I think you jsut shouldn't have said anything in your Title...

This is what keeps me from rooting. I just don't want any problems. This is rom related though. Just my opinion

Revert back to stock and if you still have a problem take it into your Sprint store.

All kidding aside, I don't know if there is an app to measure Processor usage. That is why I asked too.

I would be interested to know if that is the heat or possibly just because the battery is burning off so much juice it is heating up, same as when it charges.

I would root if I had a specific need, but can wait for the official release which hopefully will include OBEX BT File functions, then the phone is perfect!, lol...
