Handcent question

When I had Handcent installed onto my phone before having to do a factory reset, if say I had 3 messages waiting, it would show the no 3 on the handcent icon. Since installing the app after the factory reset, it does not appear to do this anymore.

Do I need to go into settings to rectify this, it should it do it if its own accord??

Try menu/settings/send message settings and then tick 'display message counter'

Yes, it's a setting in Handcent.

In that case mate i dunno. May be worth removing it and reinstalling?

Are you sure you have the widget set to your screen, and not just a shortcut to the app?
