live wallpapers are enabled but none are included :( had to download some.. some of them didnt work :(
the blue background that SE uses has become more dark..not sure how many people will like it.. IMO the old one was better..
Same 4 corner UI and still only ONE widget per screen.
Still no playlists..
Can unlock the default android gallery using the gallery app.. which is way better than the SE customized one. bluetooth file transfer is included by default though.

The icons in various places like settings are bad compared to the previous ones.

The lock screen and call screen is very good :)
free ram on clean boot is still around 50 MB.. still less if you want to run lot of apps.
after installing adw it drops to 35mb.. which is almost the same as before..

overall the good thing is that we get newer version on android but the SE UI has become worse than before.. the system dosent lag as of now though..

So, my advice is that, if you dont want to run any apps specifically designed for 2.1, better stick to 1.6.. it was much better..

ok I've updated my phone and am loving it...

few things I've noticed (am yet to discover more)

its much tidier than 1.6 and its much FASTER i must say :D

you can arrange widgets and icons without choosing arrange option just click and hold and drag now

the thing that hurts me most is now i cant unlock with the keymenu key instead i've to press the key on the top and use the screen to unlock the phone

contacts now have option to choose which contacts to be shown and now we can export contacts into memory cards

Live wallpaper option available but no live wallpapers given tut tut

some screeshots

OVER ALL QUITE SATISFACTORY

Looks good, can't wait to try it on. My Pc Companion still says am running latest soft. :( About the first screen that small batter on screen is widget or what ?

no its the new improved lock screen..

when you press the lock button (at the top next to charging port) this screen appears and you can only unlock by sliding the left slider (the one with lock symbol) towards extreme right
however if you drag the right slider to the extreme left you can turn you phone to silent mode
quite handy
