New battery out the box % ??

Hi, Well after reading everyone's battery life ...i realized mine SUCKED ...so I took it to VZ and had a rep take a look at my phone ...blamed it on my apps even took the liberty of installing advance task killer (cuz that is what he has on his) and blamed my battery life on that !!! ... even after i repeatedly told him that battery was poor with no apps installed... so he said he would change my battery ... here is the dilemma .. he claims he swapped it out .. but when i was showing the phone to him ..i remember EXACTLY that my battery indicator (Battery widget ) said it was at 70% ... because he was making fun of my pink battery indicator ..so i remember ...!! anyways he did it behind the counter ( so i couldnt see) and put a battery in/ or out of a little baggy ... and putting my case back on my phone and handing it to me ... I saw my phone was on ...and assumed he turned it on for me... anyways got in the car ..and immediately got a call ...talked 5 min tops ..and as i was getting home i looked at my phone and noticed i had 70 % !!!! so now im thinking the guy to make me feel better made believe he exchanged it ...but didnt .....i say this because he didnt even ask for my tel# til he was ready to ring a case i had purchased !!


BOTTOM LINE ... how much does a NEW battery come with ??

BOTTOM LINE ... how much does a NEW battery come with ??

Battery's usually have a slight charge, but not 70-80% as that one must have had. Unless they have been keeping batteries on chargers?

But I would go back and complain to a manager regardless, as it sounds like this rep did a bad job. You NEVER install software on someone else's computer (even phone sized computer) without explicit permission. And you don't make fun of a customer, no matter what your personal feelings/beliefs.

Tell me about ....I guess he assumed that because I was a vz employee ( landline) he could make jokes on the apps I had and the colors I had ..he even laughed with the rep next to him " elbows him and points at my snapcover hich is pink too and says. ..like this is gonna protect it from the rain" and giggles . Cuz I tolld him that I need a good holster/cover while I work outside in the rain ...and I was buying the one he had on his...... I. Asked to borrow his droid to look at it ..and yeah no wonder his battery lasts...he got nothing except 3 apps extra ...all news and his task killer .... oim am soooo pissed now that I sit here with my droid sucking the battery (which I'm almost SURE is the original one that. I had ...

THere is no way they have them charging...it was in a little ziplockbaggie ...I dunno ..somethin was fishy about the whole transaction ...I mean he didn't test it nor ask for my acct # till after I confirmed the employee disc and he was ringing it at the end arrrrggghhh ...my a$$ will be there to demand a new batt... and complain about the rep

They come charged less than 50% I believe, but it's not going to report to the phone accurately, you seeing 70% on a brand new battery means absolutely nothing.

Well somethins is going on ...I fully charged it ...took it off the charger at 9pm EST ...running adv taskiller, cleared all apps from running xcept for: email (sync every 1hr, twidroid sync 1h, )purecalendar, battery widget, weather (update 6 hrs) and taskkiller ..... it is now 10:42 3!5 and listened to 15 min pandora, watched a vid (40 min or so ) logged in to respond to this thread 2x ....ohhh and I have display on LOWEST seting Avail...And I'm at....tadaaaaaaa 60% !!!! WTF !!!! Its worse than before !!q! And. Little laggy tooo .... which since NEVER has before
