Help Contact favorites

On my Moment, when I made a contact a favorite, I was able to call the person with a single click of the phone icon next to their name. On the Epic, there is a star icon next to there name and I have to click either the name and then click call or click their picture and then click the phone icon. Is there any way to make the Epic work like the Moment?

You can use the "Buddies Now" widget that comes with the Epic, which is one click to call, or add frequently called contacts to the speed dialer.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm not able to use the Buddies Now widget because I use LauncherPro and the Samsung widgets are not an option. I use the speed dial for a couple of numbers, but I have about 10 people as favorites and I can never remember where all of them are on speed dial . Oh well, not that big a deal.
