Wow it really sucks I just now went to use my spare battery I got on ebay and apparently it doesnt work with Froyo. I tested it out before upgrading to Froyo and didnt see any issues. Has anyone come up with a solution? I tried a battery app from the market but it kept reading 90% unless I plugged it in and then it would just say fully charged.

I bought 2 batteries and a charger off of ebay for about $10. I have had no problem with them, with Froyo 2.2. The batteries charge up either in the phone or in the charger. Since buying them, however, I rarely use them. I bought an OEM exxtended battery for my Droid X. That along with the Ultimate Juice application, I get at least 2 days out of my phone.

I wonder why you arent having the same issues, I bet we bought the same battery/charger on ebay.

This is the one I bought. I got mine from this seller. Perhaps there are different non-oem batteries/chargers being sold on Ebay. In reading this seller's feedback, I didn't see any negative comments regarding this item, either.
