Dang that's a really good deal! The extended battery is a MUST, IMO. Not because the regular battery life sucks but because why not take advantage of a battery that you have to TRY to drain it all. Mine lasts me at least a day and a half. I've been on mine off and on throughout the day, unplugged for 24 hours and 10 minutes now....still am only at 60% battery life!!! LOVE it :)

Just a heads up, but I believe this code was for use for Motorola Employees and their Family/Friends. I received a cancellation on my order this morning, and others have been as well.

Brace yourselves.


I'm going to be pissed. I purchased both docks, the battery, and cover. It said it was shipped already though. If I get an up-charge I'm calling my credit card company to decline the charge.

Alright, here's an update. I decided to call customer support to inquire why my order was canceled and why the answer given of "unavailability" was used when I can still clearly add the items to my cart and checkout. After looking into the issue, the CSR told me they had plenty of stock. She said she would help me purchase the items again, she actually offered to expedite my new order for free.

She than realized halfway through that I used a Employee discount. I made something up about how I received the code from a family member who works for Motorola, and she said that was perfectly fine and manually applied it to my account. She however could only use one promo, so I shelled out the $4 for standard shipping. She gave me a confirmation number and that is that.

So this could technically still work, it might just take a bit more effort.

Honestly, this was one of my better experiences with CS by far, and I would definitely give more of my business to Motorola.

I'll just have to use that trick if they pull this stunt on me. My X arrives tomorrow so I'm excited to get my accessories in next week also. Time to pick out a case.
